Road education for 6th grade

This past Tuesday, the 6th grade students went to the Amio fairgrounds to receive traffic education classes promoted by the local police of Santiago de Compostela.

This short course consists of a series of explanations and their subsequent implementation in a circuit installed in the ship. It is an instructive, fun and also practical activity, since it is knowledge that they will use in their daily lives. Here you have it!

Music and magic at the Auditorio de Galicia

On Thursday, November 20, coinciding with Pajama Day, 3rd and 4th grade primary school students attended a musical-magical concert at the Auditorio de Galicia, where magic and music mixed to offer unforgettable moments.

The Magician's train has arrived!

The Magosto has arrived at our school! Last Tuesday, November 18, the chestnut train made its traditional stop at our center to celebrate this typical festival of our community together. The little ones got off first, with eyes of curiosity and caution in equal parts, since for them this is a new event to be followed by the other grades.

This fruit of our land was then tasted in the classrooms and also in the courtyards, here you have the proof!

Pajama day at school!

"Pajama Day" is a fun and educational activity, which is celebrated every year on November 20, coinciding with the approval of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is an activity in which the protagonists are children who give visibility to other children, under the motto "every child has the right to grow up in a family".

For this reason, the Preschool and Primary School students come to school in their pajamas on this day. Look how cute they are!

Parade, the Circus of the Brave

On March 20, the children of preschool went to the Galician auditorium to see the play Parade, the Circus of the Brave , with musical accompaniment by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Galicia, no less. The children really enjoyed learning about the story of the little elephant Babar.

Road Safety in Amio

Last Tuesday, April 8, the 5th and 6th grade students of Early Childhood Education went to the Amio fairgrounds to receive some lessons on road safety. They were very attentive and, as you can see in the photos, they took the advice and rules they were given very seriously. Here they are!

March 8th Women's Day

This past March 8, celebrating Women's Day, Early Childhood Education students carried out a series of activities to raise awareness of the importance of growing up with equality.

ALCER talk 6th grade

As every year, the ALCER association came to our center to explain and raise awareness among those over 6th grade about the need for organ donation in general, and kidney donation in particular. They emphasized the need to talk about this topic as a family, clarifying the multitude of doubts that arose.

My funny Frankenstein

Last Tuesday, February 11, the students of 5th and 6th grade of primary school went to the Abanca Auditorium to see the play in English "My funny Frankenstein". In this play, Dr. Frankenstein is preparing a party to reveal her most recent creation: a monster formed from human body parts.
