Choir and rondalla visit to the Volta do Castro residence
Yesterday, December 21, 2022, the school's choir and rondalla went to visit and entertain the elders of the Volta do Castro residence with some panxoliñas. This was a tradition that was cut short because of the pandemic for two years, but when it was possible to resume, it was going to be done. It's an initiative that the users are very grateful for, since it's the little ones who come to congratulate them on Christmas and it also means a change in their daily routine. Likewise, for the choir and rondalla students, it serves to experience first-hand a social and vital reality that they are not aware of in many cases.
El Burrito Sabanero, Noche de Paz, Navidad and above all La Marimorena delighted those present who clapped along to the musical group's performance. There was even someone who asked for a guitar to join the party! At the end of the performance, the boys and girls of the choir and rondalla enjoyed a small agape offered by the residence before returning to school.
It was a festive day where everyone present won, since it was something good for everyone and especially for the residents and more on these designated dates. Merry Christmas everyone and happy holidays!
