41st Milagrosa Race and party
This year we were lucky again and after a few weeks of continuous rain last Friday, November 25, the weather gave a respite - it wasn't going to be less - so that our little ones could once again compete in the Milagrosa race. A lot of anticipation and a lot of nerves too, it's a very special occasion where emotions run high as anyone who was there can testify.
They started as always with the little ones following a chronological order to finish with the 6th grade Primary Education students. Then the awarding of trophies by courses and categories was held to enjoy a festive day where the 6th grade students celebrated the traditional flea market where they collect money for the end-of-year excursion.
As the date of the traditional race (November 26) coincided with a Saturday, it was held the day before, so it coincided with the day against gender violence and thus all the staff of the center and the students wore a ribbon to raise awareness about this problem . In addition, prior to the presentation of trophies, there was a minute of silence in memory of the victims and as a sign of rejection of this scourge of our society.
