Once again our neighborhood was able to enjoy the Carnival parade of La Milagrosa school after this long journey through the desert that was the pandemic. The ALCER association came to our school on the afternoon of Monday 16 February to talk about who they are and the importance of organ donation in our society. We learned and talked at length about chronic kidney disease and were encouraged to reflect on everything we talked about. It was a pleasure to have them!

Did you know that the historic center of Santiago de Compostela was surrounded for years by a large wall of almost two kilometers? And that possibly in your day-to-day life you pass through one of the gates of the wall that were strategic in the Middle Ages? Little is known about the original construction of the wall, although the Calixtine Codex did refer to the seven main gates, which served as communication between the city and the countryside. The Leroy Merlín company offered a different and fun morning to second and third cycle primary school students. Through a game of tests and questions, they learned interesting concepts about the circular economy and responsible consumption.
